ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance N.V. ("ABF") is hiring a Senior Debtor Risk Analyst to strengthen its Debtor Risk Team in The Netherlands (Utrecht). 

ABF's Debtor Risk Team is responsible for the risk monitoring of ABF's non-recourse receivable finance portfolio in the 4 ABF countries, The Netherlands, Germany, UK, and France.

As part of ABN AMRO Bank, ABF has the aim to become a future-proof bank, with data-driven risk management procedures and reporting in line with internal and external risk guidelines and bank regulations. 

The new Senior Debtor Risk Analyst in the Dutch Debtor Risk team will focus on leading change and optimizing & harmonizing debtor risk processes and guidelines throughout the international ABF organization.  

Your job

Responsibilities of the Senior Debtor Risk Analyst:

  • Act as teamlead on part of global Debtor risk responsibilities, reporting to the global Head of Debtor Risk.
  • Contribute to the ABF risk policy with respect to ABF's non-recourse receivable finance portfolio by monitoring relevant internal and external (regulatory) developments in the field of Debtor Risk. Evaluates and discusses trends and situations which are important for the risk appetite and addresses the implications for the risk policy with respect to ABF's non-recourse receivable finance products. Take responsibility for implementation and compliance with regulatory risk guidelines and processes.
  • Active member of the Debtor Risk Community within ABF. Lead a global subteam responsible for harmonizing and optimizing debtor risk processes and guidelines over the countries. Sets the example in being an ambassador of the global debtor risk team and risk expert on the ABF non-recourse receivable finance product and Trade Credit Insurance.
  • Creates and maintains a network with ABF and relevant ABN AMRO departments. Maintain the relationship with ABF's external Trade Credit Insurance partners. Represent ABF during external meetings related to and make agreement about the approach of related subjects and regularly evaluates the cooperation and the performance of the external partners.

The Debtor Risk Team is part of the ABF Risk organization and consists of a diverse group of 13 enthousiastic colleagues spread over the 4 countries where ABF is active.

The Senior Debtor Risk Analyst will be part of the Dutch Debtor Risk team, located on ABF Head Office in Utrecht, and reporting to the Head of Debtor Risk. 

Your profile

  • > 5 years proven financial industry working experience gathered within corporate banking and / or risk management.
  • Knowledge of receivable finance / factoring business and trade credit insurance.
  • Knowledge of credit risk analysis and bank risk regulations (CRR, EBA DOD and LOM).
  • Experience in managing regulatory change projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to question assumptions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in various countries.
  • Solution-driven and can-do mentality.
  • Highly motivated and eagerness to learn and self-develop.
  • Good knowledge of English, Dutch is a pré.
  • Able to travel to ABF offices in Germany, UK, France on a periodic basis.

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above (Hay 11) is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month. 
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year. 
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
