
Functional Business Analyst
NN is currently in transformation to become a data-driven organization. As a Functional Business Analyst, you leverage your knowledge and experience with usage of the latest data technologies to transform data into valuable information. You are an experienced Functional Business Analyst with a passion for data, collaborating with fellow engineers daily to build new features aimed at optimizing our customer service.
What are you going to do?
Your analytical mind shines as you tackle complex problems, providing insightful solutions. You actively seek to understand what is happening, diving into the platform with a critical eye. You stay abreast of infrastructure developments and other aspects of your field. Moreover, you:
- Think beyond the immediate request, uncovering the underlying issues and providing solutions
- Translate business problems and challenges into clear business cases and working with together with other DevOps teams, to translate them into user stories
- Collaborate in creating test plans, conducting risk analyses, ensuring sufficient test coverage through executed test scripts, and performing necessary user acceptance tests
- Generate transparency and insights through reports and dashboards
- Actively engage with hands-on activities with our solutions, proposing improvements
- Stay updated on market developments and technical possibilities, translating them into practical applications that deliver value to our customers or stakeholders
- Share your knowledge and insights with colleagues for continuous improvement

What you bring
You possess an insatiable curiosity for technological developments in the market and the drive to apply them to enhance existing solutions or create new possibilities. Your qualifications include:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an information or (IT) functional analyst in a complex environment
- Knowledge of individual and pension insurance is a must, familiarity with source systems is a plus
- Experience with the Scrum methodology, SAP and/or Azure and strong analytical skills
- Experience with Splunk is also a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch and an HBO-level of working and thinking
You will collaborate with
You collaborate within one of the LPDAP Data DevOps teams alongside nine other engineers, each with their specialties. Additionally, you work closely with Product Owners and data architects. Continuous improvement is a shared goal and open communication is key. You can rely on your colleagues, and teamwork extends beyond daily stand-ups to include regular reviews, retrospectives, and ongoing knowledge sharing.
