In a nutshell

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the execution of Data and Analytics strategy of knab by acting as a program manager for our data management roadmap program. As Data Management Change Specialist you will drive change initiatives, manage data projects, and ensure the successful implementation of data management practices across the organization.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of the Data Management roadmap program in alignment with Data and Analytics strategy
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of the program milestones
  • Monitor program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Develop and implement change management plans to support data initiatives
  • Facilitate organizational adoption of new data management processes and technologies
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define program/change scope
  • Build strong relationships to facilitate collaboration and buy-in
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the CDAO on optimizing data management practices and driving data fluency improvements
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership
  • Ensure transparency (open communication, visibility into processes, roles and responsibilities, performance metrics) throughout the program/initiative lifecycle

The Team

The Expert Center Data and Analytics  department consists of 35+ data professionals with a big heart for the business value of Data, covering the following domains: Data science and analytics,  Data engineering and DBA, Data warehousing, Data architecture and modeling, Data governance and Data quality management. The Expert Center Data and Analytics plays a key role in managing Knab data as a strategic business asset and achieving a consistent and uniform view of information based on quality data. The department works with all functions of Knab and is Knab’s Center of Excellence for “all things data”. You will report to our Chief Data and Analytics Officer, while working closely and aligning stakeholders across the organization.

Your Profile

There is no predefined route to become a great Data Management Change Specialist at Knab. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

  • Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Information Management/Science, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in key subject areas of data management, program management and/or change management roles
  • Proven experience in program management, change management  and organizational transformation
  • Knowledge of Data Management frameworks (ex. DAMA -DMBOK, DCAM)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and results-oriented
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication
  • Relevant certifications (CDMP, Certified Change Management Professional) are a plus.
